*SQUEE!!!!!!*

I GOT ACCEPTED INTO THE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT AT MY SCHOOL!!!!!!! I’m so excited! Now i can finally take my teaching classes and learn how to be a good teacher! I actually found out the same day I turned in my application. Normally you don’t find out if you made it or not until a couple weeks after submitting, but I have a friend who works in the advising office and she pushed it through for me! So now I’m all registered for classes for next fall! ^__^

Busy, Busy, Busy…

I’ve been busy these past couple weeks. I have two modeling comps that are winding up. and beginning their next cycle. And my magazine that I was co-editor of went down the drain because the creator lost interest…again. And I’ve now accepted a position at Sensation magazine, run by Beech. I’m really exited for it!

.

In story news…I think this is going to be the final seasons of both SIMVIVOR and Exile Island. It just becoming more like work then something that I used to do for fun. And it’s no fun when people are bitching at you because you aren’t updating fast enough for THEIR liking. blah.

.

anyways, I’m going to try an post more now such as photos I do for competitions and such 🙂

Nervous As Hell!

I was so nervous today I thought I was gonna puke. I had to go to the police station to get fingerprinted. >.< Not for anything serious. My school (and I think every school) requires you to have a LiveScan (fingerprinting) done before you can enter the Professional Education Curriculum. They just need to make sure that I’m not some serial killer or something before I start learning how to teach children.

But I was still nervous as HELL to walk in there!

Police? What?

So my spring break finished on Sunday and today my classes resumed. That also means that my work schedule goes back into effect (damn the stupid 2am – 5am shifts!). I work at the Front Desk in one of the dorms at my school. So you can imagine all the stuff that happens. But we really haven’t had anything serious happen until today.

I was at work when one of the residents came downstairs (at 2am) and told me there was a guy passed out in the middle of the hallway. I had my friend go check it out to see if it was something serious. She called me a few minutes later letting me know that he was unresponsive. So I called the police and told them what was going on, then called the RA’s (Residence Assistants), then called the HD (Hall Director). The police and paramedics came and carried him out on a stretcher.

We weren’t even back for 48 hours and someone was already taken to the hospital. We searched his bag and found bags of weed. Why someone would put their life in danger like that, I will never know. All I can do is hope he gets better and learns from his mistake.
